As supply-base manager I’m member of the Management Team.
Activities and results achieved since September 2007 are:
• Outsourced the lamp development processes and made it suitable for mass production.
• Set-up of first-tier and second-tier supply chain for LED lamp portfolio which enabled a successful market introduction of the lamp portfolio.
• Manufacturing base in Zuid Amerika, China and The Netherlands.
• Created, Implemented and maintained the purchasing system.
• Developed and released the lamp portfolio in close cooperation with the CTO.

2004 - 2007 Several functions:

• Ad Interim Purchasing Manager.
Responsible for all Purchasing aspects for Incandescent/Halogen and Energy saving lamps for Europe.
• Purchasing Manager Innovation.
Responsible for all innovation projects from the Purchasing perspective.
Main achievements: Development, supply chain set –up, created and implemented the cost-roadmap.
• Global Lead buyer Electronic components & Ballast.
Global responsible for supply chain and cost reduction programs for electronic components and drivers for energy saving lamp manufacturing. Spend> 20 mio Usd.
Main achievements: Savings 4 – 8 % per year. Managing electronic and ballast supply chain globally from the continuity- and cost perspective. Replaced European manufacturing base by Asian base. Introduce new electronic ballast platforms. Phase out old platforms.

Main achievement: development and implementation of new generation of brake-test equipment.
