Structuring European sourcing at large organisations, for instance a Japanese multinational, an American healthare company, a Swedish telecoms manufacturer and an American financial services company:
• Demonstrated leadership skills by leading a multifunctional team and set up Pan-European action plan to restructure sourcing processes for copiers, printers, faxes, scanners and archiving. Result: reduction of suppliers, savings of approx. 15-20% and additional productivity through IT product integration for a company of 70.000 employees.
• Participated in a multifunctional team to outsource a Logistics warehouse for two divisions of a multinational and led negotiations, which resulted in considerable savings. Similar project done for the Swedish multinational.
• Led multifunctional team and set up sourcing strategy and action plan for the procurement of third party trade goods.
• Teamleader of a direct materials project in Telecoms building market for hiring of cranes and cherrypickers. Considerable savings obtained.
• Replaced IT Purchasing Manager Northern Europe.

for two divisions (volume 200 million Euro). Strategic and commercial responsibility for setting up processes and a structure for the indirect procurement for two divisions at >24 plants in Europe (main countries: France, Germany, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, UK, Italy, Greece). Focus on rationalization, sharing best practices and obtaining 6% year over year productivity.

• European strategic and commercial responsibility for purchasing indirects, amongst others for telecommunications, marketing & internal communications, training, professional services, facility management, copy/print/fax (GEP European cost saving printer project), commercial print, paper, temporary help (outsourcing project) a.o. Participation in several Capex projects eg portophone network for local BoZ sites.
• Focus on setting up E-catalogues, use E-auction tool, digitization.
• Continue consolidation/rationalization buy of GEP European sales offices and integrate with Headquarters, where appropriate leverage locally with other GE businesses.

Focus on integrating buy and gaining synergies with other GEP divisions.
• Start up consolidation buy of GEP European sales offices and integrate with Headquarters.
• Member of several across functional bullet train teams at GEP focussed on obtaining additional productivity.
