2006 - 2007 Business consulting project. The subject of my research was to investigate the value chain of the signage market, in particularly high density display for retail market.

2000 – 2006 Senior Manager.
I was responsible for custom made products (semiconductor components) and strategic supplier development for mobile display systems and applications in an oligopoly B2B market.
Business value & volume
- Project size between €100.000 and €350.000.
- Business impact: 50 million products, in total €125 million per year.
Achievements
- Implementation of new technologies to increase the perceived value by the customer
- Development of relations with strategic suppliers like Leadis, NEC and Toshiba
- Development agreements for new suppliers.
- Introduction of breakthrough projects for cost reduction and improved time-to-market.
Responsibilities
- Development phase of the supply base management process.
- Managing technology, product portfolio and business meetings between MDS and strategic suppliers
- Alignment of feature and capability roadmap.
- Development of management strategic targets together with purchasing, portfolio, quality and marketing depart-ments and implementation into the supply base management organization.
- Custom made high volume IC development projects.

Research and development of a new optical fire guard system.

1993-1999 I developed a technology for avionics, aerospace, military and medical applications. For two years I was manager in a European sponsored CRAFT-II project to develop flow sensors used for pulmonary diagnostic functions for asthma patients.
