Position:
• Manager of the IT Contract & License department, head of a team of 2 license and 2 contract managers
• Member of the IT staff.
• Chairman of the IT Software Policy Board
• Steering committee member for IT projects
Key area’s of responsibility:
• Owner of all IT contract & license processes, including asset management
• Implementation of new and improvement of existing processes for IT Contract & License department
• Full compliancy for all IT licenses used
• Further professionalization of IT contracts. Lead or support IT Contract Managers in negotiations with vendors for new contract and improvement of existing contracts
• Centralization of IT contracts (used to be dispersed among IT, Legal, Procurement and Business)
• Department is the single point of contact for the business (incl IT), procurement, legal and vendors for all IT contract related issues or questions
• Centralization of cross-sector IT licenses and maintenance
• Responsible for centralized IT licenses and maintenance budget
• Relocation of single sector application budget to the respective sector (license compliance and maintenance renewals stay under the control of my department via the implemented processes)

July 2007 – June 2008 IT Contract Manager.
Position:
• Reporting to the Senior IT Contract Manager
• Project board member for IT projects
Key area’s of responsibility:
• Co-responsible for managing all worldwide contracts, tenders and escalations management and administration activities
• Point of contact for the business (incl IT), procurement, legal and vendors for all IT contract related issues or questions.
• Provides solutions and value-add to IT management on contracts, tenders (RFI, RFQ and RFP’s) and escalations with IT vendors
• Provides consultation in IT service expansions and deletions
• Support the operational organization to deal with contractual issues effectively
• Challenge internal requirements to ensure that these requirements reflect the actual need
• Create, renew and terminate contracts with suppliers within IT contract guidelines and review and approve any amendments to IT contracts
• Owner of the internal contract approval flow
• Maintain clear communication with stake holders in the business, IT, procurement, legal and vendors on IT contract related activities
• Maintain the integrity of the contract database, websites and other reporting tools

1999 – June 2007 Global Sourcing Manager IT Services & Hardware.
Position:

• Contract manager for all global IT hardware & IT lease contracts
• Contract manager for all datacenter and email environment related contracts
Key area’s of responsibility:
• Global strategic procurement of IT Services & Hardware
• Manage supplier selection processes and contract implementations
• Formulate, monitor and lead project plans, in accordance with requirements
• Manage project teams to analyze business requirements and transform these into (global) IT solutions
• Supplier Account Manager for selected strategic IT suppliers
• Development and maintenance of global commodity strategies and supplier management plans in accordance with the strategic direction of Philips IT & Purchasing
• Identify and anticipate on new business requirements that are aligned with market developments
• Identification and realisation of savings opportunities
• Participate in service management meetings of internal IT organisations
• Contract management, aligned with the Contract Management Process Framework
• Pro-actively manage key stake holders in the implementation of and compliance with global contracts and purchasing related issues
• Maintain clear communication with Corporate and Business Divisions, regions, countries and sites on IT purchasing related activities
• Maintain the integrity of the contract database, websites and other reporting tools
• Manage and optimise organisational processes, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities

1998 – 1999 Purchasing Manager.
Responsible for initial purchasing of IT. Conducting market research of current and future developments, selection and evaluation of suppliers. Negotiate, renew and finalize contracts.
