2007 - 2008 Senior Buyer Projects (Belgium)
Negotiating the procurement for the purchasing projects department (contracts substations, civil works & turnkey projects) by properly balancing considerations of price, quality, services, delivery, payment terms and commercial situations. Total spend between 25 and 50 Mio Euro/year.
Coaching junior buyers, buyers and administrive support team of the department.

2004 - 2007 Purchase Project Manager Benelux (Belgium)
As a Purchase Project Manager (PPM) I was in charge of optimizing each project and/or tender, reducing overall purchasing costs & risks, translating project requirements into negotiation inputs & objectives, implementing the contracts and doing the projects follow-up. For each project, PPMs interface with tendering teams, with program management, with legal department, with sales and with the operational project managers.
Most of the PPMs were dedicated to a given Business Group/Business Division but I was appointed to cover Belgium and the Netherlands. In order to cope with these responsibilities, I spend one day per week at the offices in the Netherlands.
