2001 – 2004 Procurement Manager.
Reporting to the CFO and responsible for the set up of a Procurement Department with a yearly spent of € 22 Mio.
Objective:
• Cost control, supplier reduction, cost savings and customer satisfaction
• Optimizing business processes within the Finance & Accounting Department and company wide
• Participate in Shared Services and Operative Purchasing Centre projects
How?:
• Set up, implement and managing of Procurement Processes and Procedures
• Roll-out MM & SRM, centralization, Communication Portal, set up and assess RfI’s/RfQ’s, optimizing supplier relations and internal customers.

Member of a Company Global Purchasing Network, within this network I have (a dotted) reporting line to the CPO. Selected countries are united in this network and responsible for defining:
• Global Purchasing Policy.
• Global Cost Saving Policy & Measurement
• Global Policy for the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) model. This will be the basis for implementation of SRM worldwide.
1997 – 2001 Customer Solutions Buyer.
Responsible for procurement activities within Strategic Outsourcing projects. This in very close cooperation with the largest internal customer. The delivered services consist of consultancy, supply chain management, contract management en strategic sourcing in a way that the IBM project- en sales teams can approach/service the market effectively. This process, form Engagement until Service Delivery, was coordinated by me.
1992 – 1997 Superintendent (Food).
Within 2 years I was appointed as superintendent. My responsibilities: procurement, sales, logistic and administrative organization and managing 4 colleagues.
1996 (work placement) Trainee.
Six month training at the Quality department.
1983 – 1992 Various jobs
Catering, insurances/mortgage etc.. But most relevant was the set up of a small “company” based on Network Marketing via the National Safety Association (N.S.A.). Recruiting, educate of new participant and giving presentations was most important.

NEVI III, NEVI I, Procurement Education, Bachelor degree in Business Economics, School for intermediate Business Education, Senior General Secondary Education.
