2006 Logistics Support Manager, (aviation)
Scope: re-organisation of supply chain in procurement, logistics and warehouse, the integration into the global Heli-One support organisation, set up of new reporting systems with KPI¡¦s, organisation and execution of a wall to wall stock check (5500 line items) Responsible for supply chain department with 10 FTE
2005 Project Manager, Material Management (aviation)
Interim project, 2 months. Scope: execution of a fixed wing ops. project with a 1 million dollar package of parts and tooling. I initiated the procurement and logistics of all parts, components and tooling.
2005 Material Manager (aviation)
Interim project, 5 months, Scope: execution and follow up of move to new location and re-organisation of the warehouse and the material management department after the termination of the X group. Procurement and logistics handling of all materials required for the operation.
2003 - 2005 Logistics Manager (aviation)
My responsibility was the whole logistics process (17 helicopters) Main responsibilities:
• control and supervise all logistics processes of 2 logistics groups in Africa and 1 in Holland with in total 20 FTE,
• frequent travelling to Africa for negotiations with local agents, customs, local shipping companies,
• analyze and report the flows, volumes and quantities of all goods and materials, communication processes, all involved costs and optimalization of costs, traffic management, optimal transport flow analysis, transport company selection, warranty program execution, member of Bombardier int. spares review board, reporting to tech manager,
• supervision + execution on site of 8 months project to move and set up of new warehouse, including quality and quantity monitoring process, new procedures, working environment, re-arrangement of staff.
2001 - 2003 Manager Purchasing Department, (oil & gas / transport)
American company specialised in fluid handling equipment, cargo tank products and loading arms.
Main responsibilities:
• manager of department with 5 FTE, control and responsibility of complete procurement process and planning of all required strategic materials, order management and its administration, material + vendor management, budget control, preferred key supplier selection, frame work contract negotiations with suppliers worldwide, supplier auditing, warranty management, reporting to managing director, member management team.
1996 - 2001 Logistics Officer / Buyer(aviation)
Supervisor of 2 FTE managing the complete logistics of aviation materials for our airways operation.
Main responsibilities :
• creating RFQ's + RFP's, suppliers selection, (complex) negotiations, procurement and ordering, MRO handling, tear down/workshop report analysis, inventory- and budget control of components, planning of consumables stock levels, standardisation of multiple operation used materials, initiating and executing deliver on call contracts & frame work contracts & key supply contracts, monitoring contract ordering, expediting & reminding, preferred key suppliers selection system, transport modalities & selection and traffic management, warranty handling. Extensive international communications with internal clients, manufacturers, vendors and suppliers.
1993 - 1996 : Manager Contract Administration & Logistics(aviation)
Main responsibilities :
• manager of department with 2 FTE,
• managing procurement, delivery planning and monitoring delivery times, physical inspections of incoming shipments, arranging consolidated shipments by air or sea, handling letter of credits from worldwide customers and to suppliers, supervision of invoicing from suppliers and to customers, carrying out after sales activities including warranty claims.
One of my main projects is the successful supervision of a DFL 1,7 million contract with Government in Indonesia.
1989 - 1993 : Sales Engineer / Buyer,(aviation)
Main responsibilities :
• managing RFP's and RFQ's from aviation customers, international sourcing and suppliers selection, negotiations with aviation customers worldwide to obtain the customers order, negotiations with worldwide suppliers and vendors including actual procurement, managing MRO for aviation related material, including sourcing, analysing tear down reports, obtaining customer orders and approving repairs and overhauls.
