1998 - 2004: Senior buyer
Set up Accessory purchase system/process in the Daimler Chrysler group as well as for Mazda Europe.
Responsible for supplier assessment and supplier selection.
Being a key player between the engineering and marketing departments in order to set and control price/quality and timing targets.
Co-ordinate EDI links between customer and supplier.
Being responsible for initial stock.
1997 - 1998: Account Manager
An Automotive OE supplier of air-conditioning hoses, tubes, and fitting appendages.
Responsible for following customers (Ford, VW, Delphi, Visteon).
Generate and safeguard existing business.
Control and supervise of projects (quality/technical specs., price, delivery time).
Acquisition of new potential customers and find other applications of above mentioned parts.
Report to board of directors.
Initiate business plans.
1995 - 1997: Senior Liaison engineer
Project control as far as engineering / costs and timing is concerned of full accessory programs for following customers:
Ford Europe/ Brazil / India.
Toyota Europe (TMME at Brussels).
Renault France.
1989 - 1995: Senior Buyer
Market research in co-operation with Volvo Sweden/ Mitsubishi and Renault France in a structural /systematical way within existing and new potential markets.
Select and choose suppliers based upon following criteria:
Competitiveness.
Port folio.
Price level/ price breakdowns.
Stable price flow (long term contracts).
Early supply involvement.
Packaging/ sequence deliveries.

Developing of specific parts for the after market in accordance to a business plan, in close co-operation with European importers.
Releasing parts within x technical requirements within time and cost targets.
Technical and financial feasibility studies.
Support the Advertising Sales and Promotion dept. by means of emphasising benefits/features of competitive sensible parts in order to increase market share with help of brochures/ video’s parts marketing conferences.
Rationalise parts programme in order to achieve low stock costs/less complexity/lower initial purchase prices.
1979 - 1984: Engineer
Started as an engineer on chassis components.
Main task as system engineer on:
Braking systems.
Front and rear wheel suspension.
