• Mitigate steel increases and find alternative steel sources.

2000 - 2004 Buyer Heating and Controls.
• Project- and commodity buying, final responsibility for Product Quality and –Supplies, the responsibility for creating and applying a “Package Strategy” and a company wide Lead-buyership for certain components within the package.
• Controlled spend of app. € 30-35 million divided over 10-15 Europe based suppliers.
1998 - 2000 Project leader 5-speed Automatic Transmission.
Large size car projects, automotive, team lead.
• As project leader for a team of 10-12 people, I was responsible for development, introduction and model changes of the gear box for new car models.
• Development was done in close co-operation with the Japanese partner, Aisin AW, the VCC Engine Department and their subcontractors.
1996 - 1998 Calculations and Simulations combined with HR related project work. 100% technical was not “my thing”, discovered interest in the HR related issues.
• Support the design process: predict the strength & stiffness of car body structures and dynamical behaviour of cars in new car development projects, based on Computer Simulations.
• Development of 96/97´s new VCC Graduate Trainee Programme.
• Corporate project Dialogue on Learning. The goal was to increase the organisational effectiveness within the Corporation.
1995 - 1996 Graduate Trainee.
Education, knowledge of complete company & processes, project work, network., duration 16 months.
1994 - 1995 Structural analysis and Simulation Engineer.
• Predicting the strength and stiffness of automotive components and oil rigs, based on FEM Computer Simulations.
1993 -1994 Final thesis, “Structural Analysis of Composite Materials”.
• Development a Light Weight Upper Wishbone for the rear suspension of the Audi 80 Quattro, suitable for series production.
• I found a new way to simulate strength and stiffness in fibre reinforced plastics.
