Day shift Linehaul Controller.
For the freight arriving from China finding the transport and arranging the correct loading of the freight to other depots or direct to customers. Dispatching freight to meet non commercial uplift connections with other carriers. Ensuring schedules are met and paperwork is correct. Ordering vehicles for special services direct to customers, planning their routes, transport paperwork and ensuring that the costs are correct. Also trained to be the stand in cost controller ensuring the contractors are correctly paid for work carried.

Warehouse employee.
Working in a third party logistics warehouse ensuring that the clients stock is unloaded from delivery vehicles, located in the correct locations, picked and packed for distribution to the clients customers worldwide.

Distribution Administration.
Printing invoices for all items leaving the EU, complying with customs regulations for countries that require it. Printing Airway Bills and manifests and ensuring everything meets its shipping deadline with various transport companies.

Supply controller.
Receipt and Despatch. The receiving and checking of items coming onto camp, updating computers and separating for distribution to user sections. The packing, labelling and despatch of items to other camps worldwide using military and civilian transport methods by land, sea and air. Ensuring that dangerous goods are packed, labelled and documented correctly for despatch. At all times meeting the supply pipeline time limits.
Forward Delivery. Delivering goods to user sections from Receipt and Despatch and moving goods between user sections on camp. In this task using vehicles from small vans to L.G.V’s and fork lift trucks.
Petrol’s, Oils and Lubricants. Ensuring the stations stock of products is at sufficient levels. Any item that is approaching its life expiry date is either tested for extended life or disposed of in the correct method. Stocks of ground and aviation fuels demanded, received, stored and accounted for, for onward issue to vehicles or aircraft.
Stock control and accounting. Ordering items for the user sections on camp either from stock the on base or from other RAF Stations, monitoring delivery times, hastening incoming orders if delayed and issuing the correct items to the end users when received on the base.
