Customer Service European Sales Offices
Act as the direct interface between the customer (Sales Offices) and the company in order to provide the customer with maximum service and support. In addition, I actively assisted in implementing procedural improvements to enhance efficiencies.
MAIN JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform the data entry function in processing all orders presented by internal and external customers, to ensure maximum service to the customer. Process returned goods authorization (RGA) for products.
Assist clinical department with order processing and returned goods from markets concerned.
Schedule all end-user and/or EU products in process for both internal and external customer to ensure the customer receives product within a prompt and agreeable time frame.
Assist internal and external customers in product complaints and inquiries, to ensure customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance (MDD93/42/EEC) and problem solving.
Responsible for physical product distribution according to established standards to meet customer needs.
Responsible for participating in and contributing to departmental improvements and personnel training and measurement (KPI’s).
Supply reporting related to open orders and sales.
Pricing uploads in QAD, based on existing EU pricing guidelines.
Interface with supply chain management related to orders, to prevent from back order (BO) situations and optimize available inventory.
Perform data analysis related to order patterns, product availability, BO’s, Short Shelf Life items etc. in order to improve the overall service levels to EU customers and the organizational performances.
Warehouse administrator
Perform all necessary tasks as part of the warehouse administration and coordination in order to ensure optimum service levels to our internal and external customers.
Check and manage the daily order processing in order to create highest service level to our customers. (Open order reporting, Service level hit reporting)
Arrange pick ups with logistic carriers together with relevant shipping documentation for European export related shipments.
Support shipping activities related to return shipments from European customers, sales representatives and sales offices.
Shipping related handling of calls/emergencies in a timely manner.
Tracking of shipments for internal and external customers, using tracking systems from logistic carriers
Handle complaints with logistic carriers, either in- or outbound related.
Support the inventory allocation process for Europe, in order to achieve the highest possible service levels.
NOTE: during the period that I served the company, I also completed several projects that I started on own initiative and/or received on instructions concerning field inventory management, short shelf life performance and product disposition.

Inventory Carrying Costs
Defined, visualized and analyzed the Inventory Carrying Costs. Further I created and developed a system which calculates these costs automatically. Through this system, the management and I gained the power to improve financials by cost reduction.
Financial management
Developed and created a complete investment research and developed a complete info brochure about a project which would be inevitable for the future. These results have been analyzed and recommendations have been set for the future.
Strategic analysis
Completed a strategic analysis on IDC level and company level. The outcomes of this project came out a month after my completion. Further I created and developed a complete workbook for every company that wants to do a strategic analysis of their own company. The results of this analysis can be analyzed and targets can easily be set for the desired time period.
Human Resource Management
Created and developed a complete HRM policy for the IDC the company. This policy is still in use by the organization.
Global Supply Chain Management and Change
Improved the forecast and demand system of the IDC and optimized their inventory. Further I created and developed a work out of a recommendation of a flow within the purchase and logistics network. This recommendation will improve the lead time, service level and will save the company a lot of money.
Many analysis, cost savings and improvements of transport (costs and services), warehouse, packaging, shipments etc.
