• Help set up a new retail lifestyle store concept. Operations & Recruitment Manager, Dir. Store Utrecht, help define own furniture & complementary collection, store concept and image branding.
• Ad Interim purchasing regional Police. Mainly tactical purchasing and advice regarding diverse procurement issues, tenders and conditions, including Furniture, IT (Arbi) and Telco negotiations.
• Ad Interim Procurement Segment Manager Infrastructure-Middleware for Dutch Bank. Look for new optimisation opportunities following centralisation of business, systems and I(C)T policies and translate into strategic and tactic segment plan. Execute identified projects, renegotiate standards and / or downsize supplier base, review maintenance requirements. Strong focus on procurement process and further professionalize of procurement function
• Sourcing, negotiations and contracting major IT systems, projects and programs for Dutch largest Insurance Company. Strategic procurement plan. International outsourcing of IT.
• Program Manager for the set up of strategic sourcing department for a Dutch Province and implementation of new purchasing policy aiming at improvement of Tender processes to comply to European guidelines. Planning and coordination of team workload. Recruitment activities, administrative organisation, IT and communication issues.

• Explore marketing & sales activities in setting up new business unit Interim Services
• Project leader of strategic TCO project involving home connection materials for largest Dutch utilities company. Program included spend analysis, opportunity assessment of standardization and aggregation of materials, volume consolidation, supplier and inventory reduction, improved logistics etc. Successful out of the box sessions with major suppliers for future design and further simplification of materials and working methods. After idea generation and identification of savings, feasibility evaluation and prioritisation of ideas led to procurement strategy and implementation plan. Using this method, a minimum savings potential of ten times the target was reported. Road show of presentations throughout the company to ensure knowledge capture and support for further implementation
• Analyze cost, spend and budget of the main BU of major Dutch utilities company in order to identify savings and improvement potential. Translate into 3-year strategic procurement plan and tactic action plan.
• Joint research with Compendium Public Procurement legal specialists to evaluate the opportunities of eSourcing in the utilities and public sectors
• Project leader for the development of sector flyers for Compendium Electronic Commerce
• Marketing of the eSourcing proposition of Compendium Electronic Commerce by organizing and executing workshops including a live auction for Compendium’s client base Preparation, execution and category expertise in several downward virtual auctions, including identification of categories, sourcing & process strategy and supplier selection
• eProcurement system Supplier Selection for an Airline Company
