The Project contains Engineering, Procurement and Construction Planning of a Flue Gas
desulphurization installation using seawater, for the largest single train Refinery.

March 2002 - October 2004:
Capital Project Bundle,
Fluor provided FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction management services to meet the refinery’s future needs with respect to new European Union environmental legislation and changing market conditions.
Six projects were released under the Bundle with a total value of a $250 million. These included the following additions/modifications: clean fuels project including a SHU and the re-use of a catalytic polymerization unit to be integrated into the SHU (up to 21,000 bpsd light cat naphtha); a coke drum replacement project, heater replacement project, reformer project, and a site power infrastructure project All projects were executed while the refinery was in full operation.
