Writing up a Sourcing Plan for the specific product groups. Independently initiating cost saving projects and being fully responsible for the product group.
Actively contributing to NPIs via creating functional specs and Early Supplier Involvement. Selecting the best supplier(s) from the preferred suppliers list and/or searching the market for potential suppliers. Developing, negotiating and contracting the supplier. Total spend: approx EUR 10 mio.

General activities: tactical and strategic procurement of packaging materials (eg foil/corrugated/tape/glue), outsourcing (co-packing activities) and technical purchasing. Analyzing spend and market situation (Kraljic) of the portfolio and consequently defining goals and strategies in consult with Purchasing Manager. Independently initiating cost saving projects. Total spend: approx EUR 6 mio.
Conducting market research (eg market- and supplier knowledge, (price) benchmark and trends), preparing and executing e-sourcing activities (eg packaging materials, lithography, tactical design agencies and printed matters), monitoring supplier performance, auditing (new) suppliers, and monitoring the real spend compared to the spend plan (operating plan), signaling unconformities and proposing changes.
