- Making and implementation of purchasing strategy based on the company strategy for the next 3-5 years.
- Contracting of new suppliers in the EMEA region.
- Managing existing strategic suppliers and making contracts with new suppliers
- Optimise of the suppliers base;
- Taking the initiative in a close cooperation between the department R&D and purchasing. In the past there was a bad cooperation between these departments what resulted in various problems. In this function I started and managed a cost reduction programme. The result was a cost reduction of 25 % on the bill of materials of a complete machines.
- Advise of internal departments on strategic purchasing issues.

2000 – 2001 Head of the Logistics & Purchasing department
tasks\responsibilities:
- Responsible for the operational and initial purchasing;
- Pre-calculation and after-calculation of production orders;
The department had including myself had four employees. I was manager of this department, the main tasks of the three employees were taking care of the operation buying and arranging the logistics.

1997 - 2000
Started as employee at the Logistics & Purchasing department. Main work was the operational purchasing and logistics.
