2006 – current Purchasing Manager
Which implies leading a department of eleven employees and setting the stage for developing a well structured procurement activity. Strategic improvement projects in close cooperation with all management team members and key supplier management activities also fall under my realm of responsibility.

2002 – 2004 Purchasing Manager/Initial Purchaser
Which required the restructuring of the Non Product Related purchasing package and organization. Introduction of supplier rating, standardizing activities within warehousing, several operational and organizational (project) improvements lead to substantial cost savings and natural acceptance as team leader within a group of several employees.

2000 – 2002 Initial Purchaser/ Change Manager
Which required multidisciplinary break-through management regarding the procurement of raw materials. New successfully introduced models and a more conceptual multidisciplinary approach resulted in improved purchasing control of existing suppliers. Also effective introductions of early supplier involvement were achieved as also considerable cost savings.

1997 – 2000 Purchasing Manager/Change Manager
Where a new purchasing department with several employees was initiated by me. This department was newly automated, improved, and ISO certified.

1997 – 1997 Project Leader
Which continuously secured a higher than targeted cost reduction. Simultaneously, the foundation course in purchasing was completed successfully and my activities in two other projects were awarded with certificates of excellence.
