During this period I was responsible for the integration of all tasks within the Xerox Europe planning group and the central marketing team

Oct. 2001 – Jan. 2004 Supervisor+Planner/Buyer
• Several supervisory tasks within the Supply-demand team (4 planners/buyers)
• To analyze and assess the expected demand for Xerox products in the so called 2nd world countries. This is done through intensive phone contact and using historical sales figures
• Purchasing DMO-Unique products via 3rd parties and also negotiate price agreements for tenders
• Creating and implementing an interactive supply-demand database on the intranet
• Establish working agreements with the DMO marketing department with regards to buying processes. As a result I frequently traveled to Uxbridge (UK-> Central Marketing Office)
• Leading Participant in a Lean-six sigma project which is focused on Russia to decrease their revenue left on table by improving their forecasting methods and looking carefully at stocking positions of certain products.

Jan. 2001 – Sep. 2001 Project Coordinator Supplies
• Devise and implement a planning-system to facilitate the planning and buying process with the sole purpose to reduce costs
• Next to this between Jan-01 and Mar-01 I was also responsible for the transition of all supplies stock and the supplies-planning role.

Apr. 2000 – Jan. 2001 Buyer/planner Supplies ~ Management Traineeship
• Analyze the expected demand in Europe for toners and accessories
• Use above analysis to purchase products worldwide from several suppliers (Approx. $8000K. per month)
• Monitor stock-levels and resolve stock constraints.
• Devise and implement several management reporting-packs
• Next to this I took part in a management traineeship (which involved following several courses and joining seminars)

Traineeships
September 1999 -February 2000 Manager on Duty ~ P&O project
On a daily basis (starting from 18:00 hours) responsible for a bungalow park (450 Bungalows) and its employees. Basically this meant solving customer complaints and managing the employees in case of any issues
Next to this I owned a P&O project for which the goal was to improve the visibility on actual job/task time-requirements
